I have averaged 200 consumer clients a year, since 1989. Chapter 7 cancels judgments, credit cards, hospital bills, liability for auto accidents, personal liability for secured and unsecured debts and even some income tax liability.
I have participated in bankruptcy cases since 1989. I currently am averaging over 250 Chapter 7 & Ch 13 clients/year. I received a certificate of completion for attending the Max O. Gardner III, Bankruptcy Litigation Boot Camp in North Carolina. The boot camp has been attended by 500 attorneys in 48 states over the past six years, and consisted of over 50 hours of lecture instruction and course materials in excess of 2000 pages.
A portion of my bankruptcy practice is filing chapter 13 cases to enable clients to save their homes. People who dont qualify for Chapter 7 can filed Ch 13 and repay debt at reduced interest rates without late charges.
I have represented homeowners defending Mortgage Foreclosure Cases since 2004. Previously I had represented Lenders for 20 years foreclosing residential mortgages. Generally Chapter 13 offers the most relief.
