Quick and Effective

He helped me with a personal matter that had the potential to be quite disastrous. He was very knowledgeable on the process and the material was removed from a harmful website almost immediately. Very glad I hired him!

I feel I should preface this review by saying that even if my case had not come out positively (though it certainly has, thus far), I would still give Steve a 5-star review.

I recently dealt with a situation in which some private photographs of mine were stolen from a hacked email account and posted on an embarrassing, exploitative website. I tried several measures on my own to have the pictures removed to no avail. About two weeks after the pictures were posted, I had lost all hope that the pictures would ever be taken down. It was a weight on me I thought I would have to deal with for the rest of my life. Then I came across Steve's website.

Steve is a true specialist in this area and displays an impressive knowledge and skill in dealing with the intricacies of both the legal aspect of internet copyright and intellectual property and the "technology" aspect. Though other lawyers I came across told me there was basically nothing they or I could do regarding this particular site, Steve offered sophisticated legal insight right away and immediately went to work tracking down and contacting anyone and everyone who had anything to do with hosting the site in an attempt to have them remove the content directly.

Steve's extensive background in software engineering enhances his ability to provide you with your most favorable legal outcome far more quickly than other lawyers lacking that specialized skill set. Not only is he knowledgeable of the legal and technological issues and obstacles involved, but he is also extremely knowledgeable and aware of all the people and procedures involved in this process. In other words, he was able to quickly get to the "top of the food chain" of the host servers (the site switched hosts regularly, and every time Steve was able to track down the person in charge) and put pressure on those individuals to remove the content quickly.

Bottom line: if you're in a situation involving copyright infringement or theft of your intellectual property in any way, you need Steve in your corner. The best thing about my experience with Steve, however, (and if you've worked with lawyers previously, you'll appreciate this) has been that every time I have called, he has either answered immediately or returned my call promptly. Every time I have emailed him, he has responded promptly and completely. He has guided me through this process as a friend or mentor would and took time out of his day (even on weekends) on several occasions to just talk with me about the problem and let me know that he is doing everything he can to improve my situation. Don't settle for anything less.
