Suzanne Lanier is a lawyer who talks a big game but doesn’t deliver. I am a single father of a little boy. My ex has been breaking the rules of our signed parenting plan and court ordered agreement without consequence. Suzanne’s most common advice has been for me to “try and work it out” with my ex. My ex has kept my son from me on my legally assigned days with no repercussion. Suzanne’s reasoning is that there is nothing we could do to correct it immediately and it would take a long time to get a judge’s ruling and that I should just document my exes behavior. She has also refused to enforce the wording of the parenting plan. All the while, my ex is lying to her lawyer about me, which I have proof of, and Suzanne brushes me off, only telling me she’ll “contact apposing council.” It came to a point where she completely ignored my messages and eventually passed me off to another one of the attorneys in her office who gave me advice that blew up in my face when Followed. After following the advice from this office, my ex filed an emergency pick up order through the courts, something my lawyer never informed me was an option for me, and had the audacity to tell me I would need to pay their firm another $1,000 for them to represent me in the court hearing. There are many other instances I could get into about how horrible this firm is, but I’m going to keep this short. Please understand, she won’t fight for you, but she’ll gladly cash your checks.

Suzanne is an extraordinary attorney who helped me during one of the most difficult times in my life. Her professionalism and knowledge about family law was impressive and reassuring. She is warm and kind-hearted (traits most attorneys lack) and makes her clients a priority. I would highly recommend Suzanne to anyone looking for a strong, reputable attorney. She is priceless!

I really liked Suzanne and thought that we communicated well, but in the end she allowed me to be bullied by my husband and his attorney into accepting a settlement that has trapped me into a continued communication with my ex-husband.
