Success

Our insurance company tried to take our life savings of 30 years. We consulted many lawyers, all of whom refused to take our case. We were facing a financial crisis. Mark took the case even though it was risky and he poured 1000 ' s of hours of his time and thousands of dollars into it. We won. We could not more highly recommend a lawyer.

You cannot get a smarter, more compassionate, highly skilled or more respected advocate than Mark Burnette. Where many attorneys only look at the particular legal issue at hand, Mark is always several steps ahead of opposing counsel and as a result his clients always benefit from his skill. Coming from humble means in West Virginia to graduating top of his class at Harvard law, Mark is intelligent but not arrogant and always has his clients best interests at heart. Nine years ago in the beginning of my career I was fortunate enough to have worked for Mark and I have never learned more from anyone, witnessed better verdicts and awards or seen such legal skill since leaving his office. Mark Burnette is a fantastic lawyer. We worked together about 10 years ago and from the first day he walked into the office, he made a positive impact for his clients. Mark is highly intelligent. Many people who think on the advanced level that Mark does often find it difficult to communicate with lay people. Not Mark. He has a way of breaking down complicated issues into simple, easy to understand components, which is an enormous benefit to his clients. He thinks outside the box, is creative with client solutions and isn't afraid to fight when fighting is called for. Additionally, Mark is held in high regard by the attorneys he litigates against and the Judges he practices in front of. Having credibility with and the respect of your opponents and Judges is an often overlooked quality in a lawyer. Overall, Mark is an excellent lawyer who takes care of his clients.
