This presentation concerns the application by Government Employees Credit Union of Florida for the approval of a proposed by-law amendment by the Department of Banking and Finance which would allow an expansion of the field of membership of that credit union to include employees of the State of Florida, Department of Environmental Regulation. The hearing in this matter was occasioned by the protest to the expansion, filed by 1st Florida Public Employees Credit Union. (In the course of the facts reported, Government Employees Credit Union of Florida shall be referred to as "Applicant"; 1st Florida Public Employees Credit Union shall be referred to as "Protestant"; and the Office of the Comptroller, Department of Banking and Finance shall be referred to as "Department".)Dispute over the right of Petitioner to include Department of Environmental Regulation (DER) employees in its membership. No Recommended Order because no conclusions were reached and the parties were not in agreement.
