STIPULATION AND ORDER CONTINUING CASE MANAGEMENT CONFERENCE

This stipulation is entered into by and among Plaintiffs Sofie Karasek, Nicoletta Commins, and Aryle Butler and Defendant The Regents of the University of California, by and through their respective counsel.

WHEREAS, on August 28, 2015, the Court scheduled a Case Management Conference for November 10, 2015, with a joint case management statement due no less than seven days before the Conference [Dkt. 12]; and

WHEREAS, at the time the Court scheduled the Case Management Conference, Defendant's motion to dismiss Plaintiffs' First Amended Complaint was pending, and the hearing on that motion was scheduled on September 30, 2015; and

WHEREAS, since that time, Plaintiffs filed a Second Amended Complaint [Dkt. 14] and Defendant withdrew its motion to dismiss the First Amended Complaint and filed a motion to dismiss the Second Amended Complaint [Dkt. 18]; and

WHEREAS, the hearing on Defendant's motion to dismiss the Second Amended Complaint is now scheduled for November 3, the same day that the parties' joint case management statement would be due under the existing schedule; and

WHEREAS, the parties have not previously sought any extensions of time in this matter; and

WHEREAS, the parties agree that there is good cause for a continuance of the Case Management Conference and the corresponding date for submission of a joint case management statement, because a continuance will permit more efficient case management, will serve the interests of judicial economy, and will conserve the resources of the parties and the Court;

NOW, THEREFORE, the parties stipulate and agree, by and through their respective counsel, as follows:

1. The Case Management Conference currently set for November 10, 2015, should and may be taken off calendar and rescheduled for Tuesday, December 15, at 2:00 p.m., or another date that is convenient for the Court, with a joint case management statement to be submitted no later than seven days before the Case Management Conference.

PURSUANT TO STIPULATION, IT IS SO ORDERED.
