Respondent's last known address is 732 Summerbrooke Drive, Tallahassee, FL 32312. 4, At all times material hereto, Respondent was the licensed qualifier for Classy Homes, Inc., and therefore, responsible for all of its contracting and financial activities. 5. In an undated contract, Classy Homes, Inc., contracted with Roland Hedrington to complete by July 1, 1998, electrical trim out work of a house referred to as Lot B, Summerbrooke. This home is located at 732 Summerbrooke Drive, Tallahassee, FL 32312. . 6. The Respondent signed the contract with Roland Hedrington on behalf of Classy Homes, Inc. Ts On January “Ul, 1999, Roland Hedrington admitted to performing electrical work at 732 Summerbrooke Drive because “Charlie (Smith) asked me to do the joo , Bos ae 8. Charlie S. Smith holds an active Registered Electrical Contractor’s license . and i is the licensed qualifier for Charlie’ s Electric Company. 9. | Roland Hedrington is not a licensed contractor in the St State of f Florida. 10. Roland Hedrington ¥ was on the premises on a daily basis performing the contracted work. . i. Charlie s. Based | on the foregoing, ‘Respondent _ violated Section 489.129(1)(), Florida Statutes 0997, by performing any act which assists a person or entity in engaging in the prohibited uncertified and unregistered practice of contracting, if the certificate holder knows or has reasonable grounds to know that the person or entity was uncertified and unregistered. | WHEREFORE, Petitioner respectfully requests the Construction Industry Licensing Board to enter an Order imposing one or more of the following penalties: place the license on probation, reprimand the licensee, revoke, suspend, deny the issuance __ or renewal of the certificate or registration, require financial restitution to the consumer, impose an administrative fine not to exceed $5,000 per violation, require continuing education, assess costs associated with investigation and prosecution, impose any or all penalties delineated within Section 453. 12), Florida Statutes, ‘and/or any other relief that the Board is auiborized t to impose pursuant to Chapters 489, “455, Florida Statutes, and/or the rules promulgated thereunder.
