Cover, P.E., hereinafter referred to as “Respondent”. This Administrative Complaint is issued pursuant to Sections 120.60 and 471.038, Florida Statutes. Respondent’s address of record is 2011 Airport Road, Lakeland, Florida 33811-1020. 3. On or about July 6, 1998, Subject signed and sealed a gable end / flat ceiling section on Sheet 4 of 4 of a residential plan for the Mitch Underwood Construction New Lakewood Model. 4. The gable end / flat ceiling section is missing essential details. 5. The gable end / flat ceiling section, as presented in the drawing, will not resist code-specified wind loads. 6. Based on the foregoing, Respondent is charged with violating Section 471.033(1)(g), Florida Statutes, for engaging in negligence in the practice of engineering.
