Our deceased father left a handwritten will that specified that all his possessions be equally distributed amongst his five children after his death. The title to the house that he lived in is only in his wife's (our mother's) name. She died in 1997. Is this a serious problem? The only other possession of real value is a 1998 Ford Ranger truck that we think to be valued at approximately $4,500.00. The truck title is in his name, only. The house is assessed at a value of $10,800.00. We received a NCLE Form 150 (Affidavit For Transfer of Personal Property Without Probate Under Nebraska Probate Code) from the Douglas County Court, but we do not under-stand the instructions. What do we need to do? Could you please help us in this matter?
