My brother gave eviction notice 2/20/20. Now no evictions due to covid 19? Tenants always late, or don't pay full amount or don't pay at all. No rent at all since dec 2019, then when they got the notice they offered to pay. He refused to accept because he wants them out. I will be moving in when they are gone. If he files a court eviction on 3/23/20, can they be evicted ( considering covid 19) and how long would it take?
Court activities are suspended. When operations resume, eviction hearings will be rescheduled, but there could be a big backlog. No evictions until then. So landlords should try to work it out with tenants to keep their cash flow if possible.
