planter around pool and install weed barrier and mulch..He completely cut with chainsaw my trees and took off all the branches and all leaves and left me with two sticks that look hideous..I asked him to just trim very little off my crepe myrtle tree and not to remove any height or branches and to take my lugustrum down a third and shape the tree.He also removed a bunch of plants in my yard which i did not ask him to remove any..He destroyed my trees..I was going to put my house up for sale and now it looks awful.Trees are a valuable asset..I have no other trees in my front yard..He has now sent me a bill...Do i have to pay him?What can i do?Everything i have read online says the trees might die or get diseased and bugs..If they ever do come back they will never be the same and will grow ugly and deformed with not enough stucture to hold up the branches..
I would consider not paying him, or even consider filing suit against him. But, on the other hand, if he is not bonded, he may be judgment-proof.
