Driving Record vs criminal record

I received my first DUI back in 97 in AL and my second one in 2003 in GA. My driving record did not show my DUI in AL but the Judge had my record and had it as my 2nd. I was treated as it was my first DUI by the DMV by was treated as it was my 2nd in court. Why is this?

Pobation officers' ''reasonable inquiry''

I an currently on probation for a DWAI and self employed. I showed my business license for proof of employment. My PO asked for an invoice I send to customers as further/ongoing proof of employment. Is she privy to how much I earn? Is this a ''reasonable inquiry''? I feel that how much I earn and the frequency I get paid has no bearing on my case. Does she have the ''legal'' right/clearance for this type of information? Can I present her with an invoice which lists the products sold but black out my customers name and contact info along with the dollar amounts? She has not been very friendly and I do not want to piss her off and make my probation a nightmare! But I just don't want to roll over and give her everything she wants without questioning the relevance to my case. For the initial intake appointment all she needed was a business license. Why the sudden need for more proof? This is my 1st (and last!) DWAI that rquired 24 hours of community service and level one counseling. Why is she busting my balls? I don't believe this request is ''reasonable'' at all. Do they use the word ''reasonable'' to make it easier for them to jerk me around.

DWI in Texas

I have been convicted of 2 DWI's in Texas, within 5 months of each other. Is there any way to get my DWIs covered up in any way. Every job I apply for turns me down for having that on my record. I am still on probation with 4 months left. I haven't had any more incidents since the arrest. There must be something I can do.

I was resentenced for an '02 DUI on 2/13/04 and the judge crossed out everything on the sentence and judgment form about paying for probation services. She signed it, too. The court is trying to make me pay $2,400 for probation debt, but the collection agency has never sent me monthly statements and when I requested written verification of my debt, I didn't get one. The collection agency has NEVER sent me one thing, since '05. Then, the judge had a court employee call me and she left a message AND sent an E-mail that said ''The judge will not address your concerns about probation or the collection agency''. I think it's because they are well aware that the payment for probation was crossed out on the sentencing form. They just didn't know I still had it. How can they ignore a court order? Docket info is just Docket info, isn't signed and you never know who entered what.

20 yr old dui charge -out of state

So 20 yrs ago, while on vacation in another state, a ''friend'' was arrested & charged with alcohol/drug in vehicle, unlicensed driver and bac over .08. Now ''friend'' is looking to adopt internationally and they want disposition of case. Friend didnt go to court, and never heard from court since that day, so assumed case was dropped. Not so, b/c I Found case on website and disposition was marked with an asterik. Not available. How can I make this go away w/o spending thousands of dollars? This was 20 yrs ago. Friend is different person now. Just want to adopt a baby and want these charges dismissed so that we are approved to adopt.

I was given a dwi (3rd) when pd were summoned to small accident where I hit a lady from behind. I was not drunk but the officer smelled beer on me. Can I be given a DWI when he arrived at the accident scene 45 later? He didn't see me driving while drunk.. Should I fight this in trial? I was given field tests which they said I failed. I refused the breath test.
