i was arrested for dui under drugs and possesion of marijuana under an ounce and on the way to the station the officer gave out information about my arrest over his personal cell phone to a friend of mine. is there any law saying he cannot disclose of private information to anyone?

DUI/ Minor without Drivers License

I was arrested on DUI/Minor and NO Drivers License at Plano, Texas.I paid the bail amount and am now out of custody. Previously i dont have any criminal records.

I am a non US citizen and on a F1 student visa. I have taken a semester off and need to leave the country before 09-25-2008 to maintain my student visa status.I have an airline ticket to go back to my country on 09-22-2008. My birth date is 11-29-1990.

I am not issued a driving permit nor a drivers license.

Will the court allow me to go to my country on that day and will i be allowed come back to the United states?

Im 27 and i am from mtl canada and was arrested for a dui in clinton county. The BAC registered a .16. I have no prior charges ; clean recordt. Arresting officer also said I ran 1 mailbox. It is my understanding, after one year of your conviction date of a DUI, you can go to DMV and get your regular license back. I have paid all the fines/fees. I already got my letter from ASAP saying that I successfully completed the course.

I am so excited about getting this mess behind me, but I do not want to get to DMV and find out there is something else I need to do or should have brought with me.

i was charged with dui,i hired an attorney to represent me,he told me to plead guilty or take chance on being jailed for a year.i pleaded guilty although i was not tested for alcohol.i paid the fine and spent five days in jail and 1 year probation.the highway dept. that i had to go to drug and alcohol classes and i had to complete a school to complete a drug and alcohol finish probation.i enplain to the probation officer what i needed to do he ok and gave a list of four schools.i completed one of the he recomended and applied for my driving license theyb told me that i attended the wrong school and that i had to adsap.i don't that it should be my fault for going to the wrong school.i want to know what to do to keep from having to go to another school and having to pay more more money.i am a dissabled vet and i need my license to drive back and forth to the hospital.

my son arrested for dwi in michigan, found guilty, paid his court fines, served 43 days jailtime, and license was immediately reinstated by Oceana County. This in 12/04. In October 2005 he moved to Colorado, obtained a Colorado license as his Michigan license was NOT suspended at this time. He never received notice from Michigan of any addl fines or that license was suspended. He has moved to Florida, went to get a license and they refused saying in 2006 Michigan suspended his license. This 2 years after his arrest for something he has done once in his 33 years, and has not taken a drink since. Colorado ran a MVR and nothing on it in 2005, which is why he rec'd valid license. Can Michigan suspend more than 18 months after the infraction? They say he owes an add'l year of the personal responsibility fine, which he was NEVER informed of the fine to begin with.

Hi;--and my quiestion is 10 years ago i got stopped in new mexico;and on 1-16-2008 new mexico had me arrested ispent 3 months i jail and went to court got 2years probation 44 hrs.Community service and have to go to dwi intervention..By law can they make this stick for 2 years?
