transmissiom repair

I recently had my transmission repaired on my Bronco. I received a 12 month or 12,000 mile warranty. Since the repair I have had the vehicle back at least 4 times one of the times I had to have it towed in. I guess my question is do I have any legal rights before they have to install a new transmission or refund my money? Also can I make them extend the warranty.

Bouncers at nightclubs

Last night my friend and I were at a bar that we attend regularly. We did end up drinking a little too much; however we were still in control. I know a lot of people that work there and they told me my friend had to leave. They did not say why just that he had to go. I was telling my friend he had to leave when three staff members came over and grabbed him. They forcefully tried to remove him from the club which he resisted. They put him in a choke hold and brought him outside. Once outside they let go of him and he ran off to avoid being arrested. I am curious as to whether or not the bouncer can just grab you and throw you out. It does not seem legal. He was intoxicated but not threatening anybody or being physical whatsoever. Just dancing on the dance floor. Any light you can shed on this would be greatly appreciated.

roommates

A woman lived with me for about a month, some of her stuff was at the house and some in my storage unit for about a month. I work in the dental field and she came into my office for some treatment. I put her under my account. She has a balance, and has since then moved out of the house. Can I legally hold her belongings in my storage unit until she pays the balance she owes at my office?

Abandon..stuff

If someone left a bunch of tools in your garage and you have requested them be removed and they are left for more than 60 days, legally can you get rid of them, sell them, dispose of them?

malicious intent/pergury

My grandson has been falsely accused of sexual assualt. The accuser has changed the story repeately (all documented) including during the Prelim. which is being continued next week. She also told a witness she's doing this to hurt him financially. Why kind of charges can be filed, any chance of doing it in small claims to recoup some costs? There were 10 felonies filed, could we take her to small claims 10 times, once for each charge once this ends. He has 70k into legal fees.

Within the picture was the word [CHARGED].

I have not been charged or accused of any sexual abuse.

Do I have a libel case?

Property Question

A year ago I purchased a home. In the purchase contract the seller had 30 days to remove all personal property. At the closing 3/15/2006 the previous owner stated that there were about 15 sandstones on the property and that she wanted them but may not be able to move them within the 30 days it might take another month. We told her no problem. 13 Months later there was not communication to us and the stones were not removed. We assumed that after a year with no communicaiton she did not want them and we paid a contractor to come to our property and landscape our lot with them. The previous owner contacted me this week and said she heard we moved the sandstone and she wants them now. I told her it was too late and we have paid to have them moved on our own property. Does she have a right to them or do we?

State Highway 57 Drainage

I have a drainage ditch that runs through my property with run off water that is being diverted from NJ State Highway 57. This runoff water is destroying my property, which is all eroding and washing down to the nearest creek. I now have a 4-5 foot wide, 3-4 foot deep trench through my property that this has caused, and it is now 10 feet from my house. I fear that my children, or any other children will get caught up in this ditch and will get killed. I have contacted the NJ DOT on this issue many times to no avail. I have complained to Franklin Township in which I live and they are just ignoring my pleas also. There are multiple land owners that surrond my home that are diverting their water from their properties to mine, and the township will not step in to help, because many of the town board members are good personal friends with the people that are involved. I have made many attempts to have this issue resolved, but neither the NJ DOT, nor Franklin Township will do anything to get this resolved. The town engineer stated to me 2 years ago that there are funds and plans in place to pipe this ditch, but now they tell me that it may not happen. Please help before a child drowns in this ditch or my home washes down to the creek.

Tanning Contract

I was having an allergic reaction to a Mystic tanning bed. I went to the doctor to get a note and she told me to discontinue product. I'm locked into a two year agreement and they won't let me out of it. Doesn't having a doctor's advice mean something? The lady I talked to on customer care said that they would need to know exactly what it was that i was allergic to but when I called my physician she said there is no way of testing that all she can do is ask questions.

Vehicl damaged at Auction House

I took a vehicle in good shape to an aution company to be sold at auction. Was notified that vehicle had a sales offer, but when ''they'' (auction place) smogged it, the engine froze and it now needs a new engine. They now want me to pick up vehicle which no longer works, pay storage fees, and are threating to sell at lien sale. I believe they damaged the vehicle as I've received inconsistent details of what occured from different employees at their company. How can I get my vehicle back without having to pay those fees ?

No repairs

Initially, we noted all problems with our apartment complex on the move in inventory. Nothing was repaired within our first month here.

Recently, more issues have evolved, including having feces come into our bath tubs (one while my son was inside it), and still no repair. We have given written notice, the notice was signed and dated, and it has been longer than 7 days with no recourse.

We have samples of the water with feces in it, and we have not been able to use those tubs since then. (We don't feel comfortable using them without them being treated.)

Also, we are current with our rent payments.

What should/ can we do legally? Can we break our lease?

Subpeona for a deposition

I made an anonymous call to the police about a sound I heard outside my window a few years ago. A year later I was subpeoned by the Grand Jury, I appeared and nothing further came of it. Now, 3 years later, I received a subpeona for a deposition for a civil case concerning the same matter. 1. Why is to my right to be anonymous disregarded? 2. Why do people have a right to disturb my ''peace'' for financial compensation 3 years later? Where do my obligations as a citizen end?

traffic accident - commercial vehicle

I live in Michigan. I was involved in a collision with a private vehicle in Georgia in Aug 2005. I was driving a flatbed truck. I was not cited. No EMTs were called. No injuries reported. Police were there only 10 minutes. No pictures, videos,etc. Driver is now suing for medical bills of more than $16,600 and loss of income over $19,000. How do I defend myself or find an attorney to defend me?

fasly accused

I had a theft complaint filed on me 500 miles away on they somehow confused me with my brother and a warrent was executed on me.I was arrested for no reason.I have never been arrested before and it caused me to be very embarased.Can I sue the county that made the warrant or whoever filed charges against me?

Legal contract?

I won an online auction from Seller A. An other buyer member contacted Seller A & offered more money after I had bought & paid. I believe there is a tort law that prohibits a third party from interfereing with a completed contract between 2 parties. Can you advise what this law is & can I sue the 3rd party for my losses?

me and another person had a conversation about buying a business. after discussing the contents a contract was drawn up. when the contract was given to him he wanted some changes made, that was done and he still didnot accept the contract. after concluding that we was not going to ever agree on a written contract & it was taking off the table and he was fired , he has now sued my saying we had a oral contract. i say we have no contract of any kind. what do u think

How do I get a copy of a judgement that I was awarded by the judge? All of the paper work I had on it was stolen?

self representation

I intend to represent myself at a trial involving the Colorado Div. of Wildlife (DOW) concerning a hunting violation. I need to know how I file for discovery, if I can request or demand past similar cases, cases involving the charging officer, areas of prejudice. How can I get the judge to appoint a public defender or is this a good move?
