I signed with ACR debt consulting firm. They were supposed to eliminate all the harassing phone calls and letters and contact my creditors on my behalf. I sent them all my credit card bills for them to ohoandle. I understood that this would be a charge-off situation. I signed several papers with them and a promissory note for them to work with them. I have had nonstop calls and letters from all these creditors. It has got so bad that I have made my own arrangements to make payments to stop litigation and constant phone calls. Now the company is saying that I still have tp pay then as agreed or they will sue me for a judgement etc. I told tham that they have not done as promised and I have been paying them and doing all the work myself. I checked them out with the BBB before signing with them so I thought they were sincere. Now I dont know what to do as I cant pay them and my creditors too. So far I have paid them $680.00. name of co. is Alternative Credit Rehabilitation, LLC. Lewistown, Pa. The informed me that my creditors could not sue me or obtaini judgements and now they are telling me they can.
