Restraining Order
My mother inlaw is addicted to pain meds and refusing to seek any help. Last night she tried to commit suicide by overdosing. Is there any legal action that I can take to keep her away from my children legally and permanently until she seeks the needed rehab help and can stay clean for a long extended period of time? She says that I can't keep the grand kids away from her, however my children (ages 5 yr, 2 yr, and 6 mo) do not need to be subjected to her behaviors.
Securing a copy of a Will
My grandfather died and left all assets to his children (grandmother already deceased) to be divided equally. Since my mother is also deceased, her siblings did not include her (or her children) in the the dispersement of assets stating the Will stipulated ''surviving children.'' They will not produce a copy of the Will for my review. How can I get a copy? Is it public record?
My grandfather passed away and before he died he told me and my mother( his daughter) that we would receive things from his will. It's been almost eight years now and we have never received or even gotten to view his will. He wife at the time refuses to speak to us as well as the lawyer who handled the case. Is there anything we call still do about this. We were to receive a part of his insurance, and two settlements that he had going on with the railroad. I would really like to know if we can take any legal action but I don't have the funds to do so. I would greatly appreciate some advice or help . Thank you
