Let me begin this review by saying that I am a retired Attorney. Elder Law was not my area of expertise. In looking for an Attorney to help with Wills and Estate Planning, I researched a number of Attorneys in Tallahassee. Based on that research I selected Ms Waldoch. After meeting with her, my wife and I found her to be congenial and extremely competent and knowledgeable in the area of Trusts and Estate planing. We are extremely satisfied with the services she provided and would highly recommend her to anyone seeking advice in the area of Estate Planing or Elder Law.
I retained Lauchlin Waldoch to help with my mother's estate planning. Mom is a typical senior, struggling to make ends meet on a small Social Security benefit, while caring for 4 of her grandchildren. I live in another state, but needed to help my mom as much as possible. Lauchlin ensured this in a manner that not only protected my mother, but also protected me. I have just celebrated by 31st anniversary in the legal field. Rarely have I seen matters of this nature taken care of so competently and completely. I highly recommend Lauchlin, her firm, and staff.
Very professional and thorough. Able to answer all questions in complicated areas of concern.
She was not sensitive to the needs of my elderly parents. Letters were sent that my parents could not understand because of language and phrasing. None of my parents calls were taken by attorney Waldoch but were handled by her aide. There seemed to be no oversight for this aide. My parents felt alienated from the lawyer. Advice was given that was legally incomplete. There was no attempt to find individual legal avenues, but were only considered based on general Elder Law.
