The issues in this case for determination are whether Respondent Samuel Cox, M.D., committed the violations of Chapter 458, Florida Statutes, as alleged in an Administrative Complaint filed by the Department of Health on November 18, 2006; and, if so, what disciplinary action should be taken against his license to practice medicine in Florida.Respondent failed to recognize signs of a leak at the gastrojejunal anastomosis.
