FINAL ORDER AWARDING ATTORNEY'S FEES AND COSTS


The Final Order rendered in Parmelee v. Pure Planet, LLC, Case No. 20- 2036 (Fla. DOAH August 19, 2020), determined that Respondent, Pure Planet Pools, LLC, discriminated against Petitioner, Michael Parmelee, in employment on account of his age. This violated section 70-53 of the Pinellas County Code. The Final Order awarded damages of $32,342.18 and reserved jurisdiction to award fees and costs. The Division of Administrative Hearings opened this matter to conduct the fees and costs proceeding.


By agreement of the parties, and, based on the uncontested motion and invoice of Mr. Parmelee, the reasonable costs expended by Mr. Parmelee are

$369.80, and reasonable attorney's fees for this matter are $25,408.00.


Under the authority of section 70-78 of the Pinellas County Code, costs and fees in the amount of $35,777.80 are awarded to Petitioner, Michael Parmelee, and shall be paid by Respondent, Pure Planet Pools, LLC. This award shall earn statutory interest until satisfied. This Order may be enforced in any court of competent jurisdiction pursuant to section 70-78 of the Pinellas County Code.
