Can I Give a Power of Attorney to Someone to Sue Another While I Am Deployed?
I am stationed at Shaw Air Force Base and have been deployed to Iraq for the next 9 months. I want to file a small claim in Small Claims Court but won't be able to be there in person. Can someone stand in proxy for me or can my Power-of-Attorney plead my case for me? I have several witnesses that can be there, if needed also.
