Due to the Coronavirus outbreak, our two year old daughter’s Montessori school is not open in person. The school made a decision to provide online material (mostly tips and song videos) by email. They are still charging $2,000 a month for this. I understand the situation is unique, and we all need to stay inside, but I didn’t sign up for online materials. I want to either suspend the billing or reduce it or end the contract given that: the teachers cannot provide supervision, we can’t use the 45-acre campus we are paying for, and can’t use the Montessori “prepared environment” that was promoted during sales. Do I have a case?
Two years old? You're paying $2,000 a month for a 2-year old?? If you want my opinion, stop making the payments and treat your daughter like a real 2-year old (that is, play with blocks and take walks in the park). She doesn't need online instruction in anything for about another 3-4 years.
So if you stop paying, where will your child go to school somewhere else? We she lose the whole semester? Are you OK with this? Also, you had better read the contract to see how to withdraw without financial consequences.
Hi, I have been mailed a letter via regular mail from my storage company, where I have had a unit for 6 years, that on Sept. 9, 2010 my storage would be auctioned off. The letter was dated 8/20/2010. I am willing to pay my storage, however the sudden time frame has me worrying why I wasn't sent a notification by certified mail. I want to pay this before auction but am short a little bit of all the late fees so even a weeks time is useful at this point, hense my needing to know the legal stand I may or may not have. Thank you.
