I was accused by my brother for hitting his car with my truck and driving drunk. I was pulled over but never found to be drunk. Cops responded to my brothers home and they found that I didn't hit his car. I want to sue for defamation. Do I have grounds to do so?

after building a new house,living here for eight years now i am told the road providing accsess to mine and thirteen other homes was never deeded to the county inturn the county will no longer maintain it, the owner of the road said maintanence is up to us now.#1 can he do that?#2 could he shut the road off to our use ?
I am on W's comp with a back injury; and work for a non-subscriber hospital. The dr has recommended back injections,and probable surgery. I am petrified to have the injections due to the scare with NECC
in the recent news and the deaths and thousands who have been hurt by their steroids. Should a second opinion be paid by insurance under these circumstances?
And will I be in trouble with my employer for seeking a second opinion?
