this was my first DUI and I was wondering how much time I was looking at I was parked up as 7-Eleven and before I even got a chance to put the car and drive right after putting the keys in the ignition the cops knocked on the window saying someone called and said I was sleeping in the car
If this is your first DUI, I've got to think that your driver's license suspension was not a DUI-suspension. Extremely important distinction, because if you drive on a DUI-suspended license, it's an automatic 60 days in jail. If you drive *drunk* on a DUI-suspended license, it's 90 days in jail. But if it's just driving on a regular ol' suspended license, whether drunk or sober, there's no extra jail time.
For a first DUI, it's usually up to 72 hours in jail -- unless you qualify for a diversionary program like accelerated rehabilitative disposition (ARD), in which case you can avoid jail time altogether. But it's not a slam dunk to get into the ARD program, and you'll need a good DUI attorney to make sure you get into a program like that. A first DUI will also land you a one-year driver's license suspension, but the ARD program can avoid some or all of that too.

Va Disability
Yes i was wondering about Va Disability. I get $712 a month that is non taxable and not reportable income. Dhs and Va said that its not accessable for child support.But my attorney said that they dont decide that Do i have to pay my ex 30 percent of this. I received this after she had filed for Devoirce. i had my two small children for the last 7or 8 mounth and their mother had nothing to do with them then on my sons birthday i was nice to call her and she asked if we can go with her to have a small party so we did so and when i turned my head she took off with them i have been the main provider she doese not have a job and she lives in a drug house which has been proven i live on a low income and i can not aford a lawer but im am will ing to pay mountly payment to save my children from her i filed savral conplaints and i have gotten nowhere so i and asking you to help me get through this promblem
