You should file a Petition to Modify Child Support immediately. Your obligation to pay child support continues until the obligation is modified by the court. If you can pay something, even if it is just a portion of the amount due, while your petition is pending, this may help to avoid fines or jail.

Are you sitting on any savings or a 401K account? If so, I would exhaust these before petitioning the court. It's not your kids' fault either, and it's your duty to do what you can to support them.

A motion needs to be filed asap to bring these issues to the court's attention.

You need to file a motion to modify the support order, and if you received a notice of termination from employer, attach a copy to the motion. What tp do about the fees depends on the order regarding those fees was that you pay so much a month or that you were ordered to pay the whole amount at one time or there is just a judgment for fees entered against you.

prepare and electronically file a motion to extend the time to day due to your unemployment
