The officer said I was free to go, but I didn't bother asking about anything that's going to happen afterwards. Will it remain on my record that I was tested, will they investigate further, etc.? Basically I want to know if this issue is behind me.
The alphabet test has no validity. if he did not ask you to take the blood breath or urine tests or issue you any citations, you probably are in the clear. They can conduct further investigations but they released their best piece of evidence, namely, you. So it is very unlikely they will do anything else.
