I need to payoff a loan,I have had the funds since 3/15,the foreclosure attorney is being difficult and said the lender is in bankruptcy and the trustee needs to provide the payoff amount.He said that he will go ahead and file notice sale of trustee on my home even if he is the one delaying the process. his deadline is the 20th next week and he will file for my home to be auctioned the next day the 21st. He blamed the covid-19 shelter in place for the reason he will move forward instead of just contacting the bk trustee.so I really have 2 questions the 2nd being when he violates the law when he doesn't meet his deadline on the payoff amount, who is the one to contact the authorities my title company or do I need to find a lawyer? I would like to let them know how to contact the bk trustee . The lender and their lawyer are not good people they have no respect for the law and I believe they are taking advantage of me knowing that I'm disabled.I'm just trying to keep my home.
