health care lisence
I am a new grad from a 2 year program for respiratory care. i was arrested in 2007 for DUI. the case was continue without a finding. i applied for a student permit, and a question was on there that confused me. it asked me if i was convicted of any crime that held a fine of 100 dollars or more, i called the cori because i was not sure of what a continue without a finding meant. They said if i am not in trouble within the one year, the charges are no longer there. so i could answer no that question. when i finished college, and took the state boards, and passed, i was informed and preped on applying for my respiratory care lisence. i called the license board up, asked them this particular question. They told me not to hold anything back. i sent all documents they requested. The mistake i made was answering no of any convictions in 2007 for my student permit, but answered yes when applying for my lisence, where i had a better understanding of everything from the end of my college yrears. I was advised to get a lawyer, because the state of massachusetts takes this serious. i honestly made an error, and was educated towards the end of college. If they deny me a lisense, and i have to go under an apeal, what happens to my rights.
