I have M.D. degree from other country than U.S. If I am only doing research and/or management (not practice medicine), can I have M.D. title on my business card?

I work as part of a management team that is salaried, giving us the ability to hire/fire employees. We hired on several employees. The job was offered at a specific rate, the employee accepted. First pay check there was a letter in it from a higher management person stating that they were hired on at the wrong amount and then lisited a lower amount. Unemployment appeal denied

I was denied unemployment insurance in the appeals process. I submitted a written account of my reasons for appealing including a perfectly analogous precedent decision by the state appeals board. I didn't bring up the precedent during the hearing, figuring that my written submission would carry the day. The administrative law judge's opinion denying my appeal did not mention the precedent decision. When I appealed to the state appeals board, I resubmitted my written reason for appealing. Again I was denied and told that I wasn't allowed to submit new evidence.

Why did the administrative law judge ignore the evidence I submitted in my written reason for appeal? Should I have mentioned the precedent decision verbally?

Postponing summary judgment date

I am representing myself. The defendant has filed a motion for summary judgment/summary adjudication and the hearing is set for May, 6, 08.

I just received notice of jury duty. I have been scheduled for jury duty the week of May 5, 08. I can not postpone my jury trail again since I had already postponed it once before due to a death in the family. If I file a motion to continue summary judgment, have it served on the defendant by mail, and set a hearing date based on 30 calendar days + 5 days, the hearing to postpone summary judgment will take place after May 6, which is after the motion filled by the defendant.

How can I postpone the summary judgment on May 6, 2008?
