My name is Kelsey and in 2005 I enrolled in and completed an ultrasound program through Newbridge College of Allied Health. They promised an internship and job placement upon completion of the program and neither of these promises were honored. Furthermore, the school was no ARDMS accredited as they made themselves seem so I was unable to find myself a job even after completing an internship that I had found for myself. I now owe money on school loans that I am unable to pay because I am not employable in the field of Ultrasound. I am currently enrolled at Long Beach City College pursuing yet another dream for International Business, but because of my previous student loan and my inability to pay, I no longer qualify for student loans.

My question for you is what can I do to resolve this situation, if anything. Your suggestions would be a great help.

I was a freshman at the time. I gave a girl Coricidin Cough and Cold pills (Over the counter cold medication/DXM which is not illegal) at our school dance, willingly and I didn't recieve any money for giving it to her. My school, Maine South suspended me for 10 days and then placed me in their Behavioral Disorder classes, which led to me going to Arlyn theriputic day school. All in all I was removed to lower standards and lower functioning levels where I just made it to graduation. I was raped of an education, because my school made up that I gave a girl an illegal substance-aka Coricidin Cough and Cold, I have documentation by Maine South's psycologist Steve Mihalpoulos, stating that my reasoning for being placed in BD and ED Education was solely made because, and I quote, "distributed an illegal substance to another student at a school function. Placement was soon after changed to Arlyn School for a more structured and theraputic acidemic setting(5/02)."

I was wondering if I could sue my school to pay for my re-education classes so that I can move on to regular college courses.

Hello, My question is this: I graduated from High School in 2004 with a High School Diploma. I didn't think I had anything to worry about.. I am now trying to enlist in the Air Force but they say I graduated from a TIER TWO school. So I need to go to college first because they only accept graduates from a Tier One School.

I graduated at the age of 17 so at the time I was not old enough to be in an Adult Education Program and from what I can find Tier Two Schools only issue the, "Adult Education Program and I believe the GED."

Is it legal for a TIER TWO High School to give me a High School Diploma?

Is it legal for the High School to not inform my parents that they are a Tier Two School and my High School Diploma is worthless if I want to serve my country?

Can a school ask you to prove you paid your electric bill in order to enroll a child in school?

I tried to enroll a child in a Chesapeake, Virginia school today and the office lady seen that I have a past due balance on my electric bill and asked me if I had paid my bill. I told her it was none of her business and she told me I have to provide proof (receipt of payment) that I have paid that past due balance before they will allow me to enroll my child in school. She told me it is state law!

Is this true and can they really make me provide proof I paid my electric bill?
