Can you please tell me what law gives Colorado State University the right to your academic transcript hostage while disputing a financial bill? The are refusing to release the transcript to me or another institution because they say I owe them money, which is being disputed. School emergency expulsion

My son was at a school with some friends when a fight broke out, he pulled some of the kids out of the fight and tried to stop it. Apparently it was a mob type thing, which teen boys do tend to get involved in. My son never threw a single punch, but the school is saying he didnt do enough to stop the fight, and has been expelled. Is this legal? My son was trying to do the right thing, and now is being denied his education. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My daughter is diagnosed with significant audioprocessing disorder and sensory integration issues. They only have a speech therapist on staff. Are they obligated to provide her services with a licensed professional speech/language pathologist who specialized in audio processing disorders? We are in NYS.

My former spouse is legally responsible for my son's student loan, however he is delinquent on it and since I signed for the loan because he wasn't credit worthy at the time, my credit is suffering. This loan is over ten years old any my former spouse is a practicing Dr. in another state. Is there anything I can do short of spending a bazillion dollars?

My son was convicted of first degree murder, in a trial where the was no physical evidence or circumstantial in my opinion. An appeal was submitted the day he was convicted by his attorney, my question is should his attorney do the appeal or should we get another attorney.

A member of a school board has been vocal in a local paper. He is constantly saying lies in the media about student-athletes and coaches. His lastest quote has come back to me very negatively.

corporal punishment

I was accused of corporal punishment but never charged and the case was closed by the DOE. I was given an unsatisfactory rating for the year based on this. breaking a contract

I signed a contract in a school district that. The contract went into effect on August 4, 2008. In my contract it states that ''the board is not obligated to release me from my contract''. What does that mean? I am in the process of pursueing other employment due to various reason.
