I am a student at a school. I have

had scholarship with state of

california. The school and the

scholarship made an greement.bill

then pay at end of quarter. I have an

email verifying this. Not paper. I took

out loans and they took my loans

outside this agreement .

There is 10 grand that the

scholarship paid them. and they are

not giving me my money back. I am

now out of school lost my place in a

prestigious internship abroad, lost

my expensive plane ticket, and was

poor, stavcing each of these

quarters, since they took the money

out of my personal loans, rather

than scholarship. they never billed

like they were supposed to, so my

scholarship sent checks too late,

therefor, I never got my money back

for a while year and a half, kept

taking out more and more personal

loans to pay school and expenses.

In result, my scholarship has kicked

me out because I am out of school

now, and my school still has not paid

me NOR billed them to pay!

Is there the option to sue and

receive funds for all of this? I have

little money for a lawyer. maybe a

couple hundred..thats it. Any cheap

options with good results?

School Zoning

The school we are zoned for is failing miserably with a 15% math score average. I am told that their are no exceptions to take my child out of district even though his grandmother is his babysitter and lives in a different district. I am shocked that i am being forced to send my child to a school that is so acedimically behind. Is their any legislation out there to protect us? or am i forced to send my child to a school failing in every subject?

Suspension from School

My thirteen year old daughter is being suspended for a food fight.

The video does not show her involvement but her proximity. The principal is suspending everyone in proximity. Says he has to be consistant with same puinishment for all no mater level of involvement.

On the website Wikipedia, there is an image on the ''Ejaculation'' article that has a picture of a human male ejaculating. The editors claim that it is not a censored website, which I can agree. However, aren't there laws against showing a Human male ejaculating on a public website illegal? It's not a pronography website either, just a website for education. The people claim that the picture is for the page, but it does not add anything whatsoever to the article. I know it is not Wikipedia to blame, but when something like this happens, what is tehre to do? Wikipedia is headquartered in Florida, US. Thanks in advance. This is serious as there have been numerous complaints with the article for the image. What is there to do and how can I get the image removed?

Bullying a problem for my daughter

Ive had several meetings with my daughters principal because my daughter keeps getting bullied at school. He has gone so far as to say ''there arent any bullies at my school'' and argues with me over the definition of bullying. Sexual rumours have been spread (and she is only 10 years old!!!) and shes been physically bullied as well. It has gotten so bad that she is getting sent home from school for throwing up at least 2-3 times a week. Ive taken her to a doctor and he said she is physically fine. My daughters therapist said i should threaten to sue if nothing is done for her. I have and still, nothing is done. Can I even sue or was i making empty threats? Im at my wits end, and my daughter is as well. Please, any advice would be great.

The teacher has requested a transfer to the middle school which starts later, in order to go to his appointment. The district refuses the transfer stating that they do not need an AP math teacher. The district suggests medical leave or resign. What is the rights of the the teacher?

I am currently enrolled in a PH.D program. I have had no guidance supporting my efforts to complete my dissertation. One of my education research classes gave everyone 'A's' because he did not care and left the school leaving his students without knowledge of SPSS, another professor did not teach us how to write chapters in our dissertations and she was fired one term later and lastly, the class that I just finished did not supply the students with the necessary foundation for writing our dissertation.

The college of education changed dissertation methods, but the business dept. (who taught the dissertation course) mandated that I use the 'old' template enforced by business. I am paying over $1500 per course and I feel as if I am going in circles w/o a direction not being prepared for my degree.

Do I have legal recourse on this college? I am at a standstill w/ my degree due to misguided representation at this private college.

I have been dealing with the Beacon City school dist. and there inability to keep my son safe at school. He has been targeted by other students and has had numerious incidents of being verbaly and physicaly assaulted. They have placed him out of dist. in a program that is not right for him educationaly. Mis-diagnosed Learning Disability

My son was diagnosed at Dyslexic in 2nd grade and has been in remedial classes since then. Now a HS junior. Most recent test indicate he's not DL- but ADD-Inattentive. On meds 1 month.( no medication for DL- only ADD) Grades from D's to B's. Now its clear that had he been on meds all along he would haev had as college prep curriculum and been looking at colleges now instead of trade schools etc. He has been damaged by this misdiagnose. Do we have recourse? Can a Speical services Dept be sued for ''malpractice''? thank you
