The short paragraph below is found in the bargaining agreement at a CA CC. It concerns retention/dismissal of part-time instructors. QUESTION: In your opinion, is there any ambiguity in the paragraph?

Oart-time faculty are employed on a semester-by-semester bases, at the discretion of the District. Those part-time faculty, who have had satisfactory performance in their previous evaluation, shall receive first consideration over part-time applicants for tentative assignments in courses previously taught by the part-time faculty member at that college.

Recently I took a Healthcare registration exam at a testing center located in a H & R Block. The noise level was extremely high with people having conversations. I believe it highly contributed to my failing the exam by 1 point. Are there legal options that I can pursue?

In 2010 Summer session. I authorized in a timely manner for the federal government to pay my summer session but not to pay for the following semester. These were option given to me at the federal website. I declined the funds for the following semester because of a divorce that I was going through. WELL!! Regis University un-known to me declined those funds saying I was not allowed to except partial loans. They declined what I authorized the federal government to pay and left me with a 4000 dollar liability between me and the 3 classes I needed to graduate.

Can an institution of higher learning decline a proper student loan and then hold the student responsible for the very monies they declined?

I am filling out a State Scholarship program for school. One of the questions is as follows: "Have you ever BEEN CONVICTED of a felony or a first degree misdemeanor or entered a plea of no contest or nolo contendere to a felony charge AND your civil rights were NOT RESTORED by the Florida Governor and Cabinet sitting as the Executive Board of Clemency?"

I have a Retail Theft charge, however, I did Pre-trial Diversion and my case disposition is ADMINISTRATIVE DISMISSED.

Should I still answer YES to the question above?

I recently went to a trade school. I paid sooo much money, and come to find out I was lied to about their accredidation and I was treated horribly. I was promised help after graduation as well and haven't received one phone call. I'm mainly concerned about being over charged by a non accredited school. Anything I can do?
