Personal loan to a friend
Hello, I let a friend borrow some money a few months ago with a verbal agreement of full payment with in 2 weeks. I have received little payment back & was told because I did not write loan on the check I could not take legal action. What can I do?
Blackmail in Michigan
A person is demanding I pay them off in return for not telling my family about something in my past that would deeply embarrass me. The person has made the threat and I'm wondering if I should talk to the police now or actually send the person a check and when it clears call the police.
