Elder parent

My elderly mother has a woman renting a room in her home. Mom has fallen twice in the bathroom. This woman is of no assistance or help to her. We need her to move out ASAP to make room for a nurse/caregiver. My mother refuses and the woman, who is also sick, is very conveniently staying. What can I as her daughter do legally to make this woman leave ?

Re: Elder parent

Unfortunately, as a daughter, the only way to get the tenant out of the house would be if you could show a Court that your mother can not run her own affairs. You would have to bring a Guardianship proceeding to show your mother is incompetent.

If you have any further questions, feel free to e-mail me you telephone and a good time to call
