Hi, I have a question about student loans.

I have no job and as a California teacher, white over 50 very hard of hearing not likely to get one in my district. I have defered my student loans, but I cannot pay them without a job. I am real close to being homeless. Any suggestions?

Student loans are usually not dischargeable in bankruptcy. I have heard of some government positions that qualify a person for forgiveness of student loans; see if you can qualify for any of those positions. You should consult your own attorney to protect your legal rights.
