Medical Malpractice - Misdiagnosis

I got hurt while on the job in Sept. 2005 and was out of work for nearly a year afterwards due to the clinic misdiagnosing my injuring and I developed a more severe injury due to their original diagnosis of my injury, that involved me in needing 3 surgeries and I have a great deal of loss of movement. I was wondering what is the statute of limitations on a medical malpractice, as I am wanting to sue the clinic that performed the treatment for my injury. While I understand that there really isn't a lot of specific information written here, If someone leaves me a email address or phone number I can provide you with a more detailed report of my situation. I do have all documentation supporting everything that I have to say.

Re: Medical Malpractice - Misdiagnosis

The statute of limitations is 2 years from the date of accrual, but it is not as straightforward as that. You must file a Notice of Intent to sue prior to filing the Complaint.

I would be glad to be of further assistance. Please visit me at my website, www.lawrefs.com or contact me directly at the email address below.
