In michigan when you are appointed conservatorship of a minor... does the money have to be held until the minor is of age, or can the money be used for the minors expenses?

i share an apt lease with my son in the State of Florida, unfortunately i hv not fix my residence status in the US yet, my son is a temporary resident. He brought his girlfriend to live with him, they argue all the time, and they want us to pay for all the utilities; we stopped doing it, and now they are threatening us that they will call immigration, and they will call the cops, we do not know what to do. Today i went home and my sons girlfriend is in the house, she locked the door and she doesnt let us go inside our own apartment.

Can we call the police and place a complaint about them without being involve with the INS as we are trying to fix our status.

I need some help, it is very hard to be in this situation, more when its yr own son who is doing this to you.

I work for a large metropolitan county in the Adult Probation Correctional Division. Recently, we were given a new Code of Ethics Policy in the department and I am questioning the legality of the policy, specifically one of the newest additions listed below.

6. Do not offer opinions, criticism, or disclose information about ------------- County business on any social networking site(s), including but not limited to Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, etc.

Excuse me? Who are they to tell me I can't reflect my own opinions about my job on my personal time? I wonder, in fact, why our department which is a governmental agency would care what I said to my friends and family on my Facebook account about MY job. It isn't any of their business. Doesn't this cross a Freedom of Speech boundary? Plus, all of the rules they lay out are completely subjective, therefore, they will change and manipulate their rules in order to get what they want. This just tells me they know they are deceitful, dishonest and corrupt and are willing to let the little guy go down for them.
