motel demands more money than contracted

made reservations last year for $61.00 per night, paid $50.00 non-refundable deposit and signed papers. just received call stating they could no longer honor that rate, the knew rate will be $95.00 per night [there were no disclaimers or fine print]. can they do this?

No -- they cannot change the contract unless the reservation listing you signed allows them to do so. Talk with the manager.
