Noise Pollution with gun ranges
Is there any legal right we have as a neighbor to shut down a shooting gun range? We live in the country and a gun range opened up very very near us. It is extrememley loud and very annoying. A lot of neighbors have complained about the noise, but we don't know if there is anything we can do. I can't open my windows in nice weather because its even louder. Any suggestions?

This is an extremely complicated issue, that I can't answer in a simple sentence or two. There are noise regulations which the range must comply with. There also is common law nuisance law that might allow you to shut down the range (what you asked for) or get money damages. I would be happy to speak with you about it off-line if you desire.
