Putting an Alzheimer's patient into a nursing home against their will

My father is getting increasingly violent with his 24x7 in-home professional care givers. If they quite (understandably) I'll need to put him into a nursing home. I have POW for healthcare/finances for him, and he as resigned as trustee of the family trust leaving me as trustee. How do I admit him to a nursing home if he doesn't want to go?

By using the Power of Attorney if the home will accept it. If they won't, you'll have to seek appointment as his Guardian or his Conservator through application to the probate court. If serious about getting counsel to help you in this, feel free to contact me.
