I work in a closed environment, in close proximity to others, where social distancing is not possible. A positive case of covid19 was reported in our community today. I do not feel safe at my place of work.
You are caught in a very difficult situation. If you contract the COVID-19 you might have a workers' compensation claim to cover you, but this has never been litigated. If you go home you risk being fired for not showing up for work as required by your employer. In this situation, I would simply state you need to do what you personally feel is right. Good Luck.
