My current husband gets Supervised Visitations to see our son. Visits ordered Couple hours every Saturday and Sunday. The other parties do not want to agree on suspending visitation at least 2 weeks. Or come in agreement with different options.
I feel they are being selfish and not understand how serious this is, I feel for my son and worried sick. They deny other options I offered such as FaceTime. And they said they will take precautions. But to be honest, I don't even know what really goes on at their homes. And I'm not even sure if the person that's supposed to supervise is even around. I feel like he takes our son to his house and theres no 3rd party supervision. And I don't think I can go against a court order. The Governor of California issued a state order for everyone to stay home starting tonight. How does this affect the visitation order? The courts are closed and I don't have an attorney. I'm So stressed out about this. What can I do?
The answer is no one knows for sure. The custody orders have not been expressly modified by the Governor's or local orders. So if you decide to keep your child in your residence, the risk you run is that down the road the OP will seek to have you held in contempt. However, you have a government order to shelter in place, you have a court system that is shut down and can't give you aid in making a decision and given that the supervisor is not a professional and that people are not supposed to be gathering in goups you have a rational belief that your son would be in more danger of being infected (and would infect fewer people if he is already infected) if supervised visitation goes forward. I find it hard to believe that a judge would find you in contempt in those circumstances, but my view won't necessarily hold up in court. I do recommend that you make arrangements to set up phone calls or video calls with the OP. Also, this is a fast changing area and keep up with developments regarding visitation as much as you can.
My Ex, Credit Card Debt and Authorized User
Im divorcing my ex. I was unable to locate her, so I filed via publication. She left me with a sizeable credit card debt. After running my credit score, I found out that I am only an authorized user on the card. I have been paying on this card for 3 years, and now I find out im not even a joint account holder. After the divorce becomes final, can I just stop paying the card? What can happen if I do? Does it make any difference if I used the card for some of my own purchases? Can I sue her for the amount I have paid on the card (if i cant find her?). Thanks for any help/advice.
I received a $25,000 judgment in San Jose CA.Superior Court against a contractor. Before paying me he filed Ch.13, which was converted to Ch.7. I represented myself in pro Per for a few years until I had to quit due to illness and surgery. The other creditor has continued in Fed. Court. It seems the debtor will be dismissed due to FRAUD. Is there anyway I can collect my judgment in State court when he is kicked out of BK court due to fraud? He also commited fraud and intent to due harm against me although my State court attorney labeled it as Breach of Contract. Can I amend anything and collect my judgment or was all the previous 5 years of court and attorney payment for nothing?
Thank you,
Hospital Malpractice
2 1/2 years ago, I gave birth to extremely premature twin sons. after an emergency c-section, I developed a secondary infection in my surgical wound and terrible itching around my IV site. After changing the IV to my other arm, I observed small lesions around area where the IV had been removed. I pointed this out to the nurse so she ordered a topical anti-inflammatory cream to apply to the affected area. My twins were in critical condition in the neonatal intensive care and I was encouraged to visit them and make physical contact even after complaints of severe itching on my arms. As the itching and lesions spread resulting in a culture. The culture came back as chicken pox. I had exposed my twins to chicken pox at 26 weeks. and they were required to receive a very potent and potentially dangerous varicella vaccine. I was covered in lesions and isolated abruptly where I sat for hours on end with no answers, and no compassion. I was confused about this acute onset and it's indications and two years later I still feel traumatized and resentful about the whole situation. Do I have a hospital negligence case?
