I have a restraining order against my husband and I got legal and full custody of 2 year old. Supervised Visitations due to meth use and DV. Visits ordered Couple hours every Saturday and Sunday. The other parties do not want to agree on suspending visitation at least 2 weeks. I feel they are being selfish and not understand how serious this is, I feel for my son and worried sick. They deny other options I offered such as FaceTime. And they said they will take precautions. But to be honest, I don't even know what really goes on at their homes. And I'm not even sure if the person that's supposed to supervise is even around. I feel like my still current husband takes my son to his house and theres no 3rd party supervision. And I don't think I can go against a court order. The Governor of California issued a state order for everyone to stay home starting tonight. How does this affect the visitation order? The courts are closed and I don't have an attorney. I'm So stressed out about this. What can I do?
Did the court order the supervisor to be family members? These are extraordinary times. I highly recommend calling a professional supervised visitation facility in your county to see how their services have been impacted by the recent statewide orders. I do know a facility in L.A. County has changed to FaceTime visits. How can you ensure opposing party and/or the monitor are safe to be around?
On the other hand, a Court order is an order that must be followed. Presumably your order was obtained before the statewide shelter-in-place order, so maybe you need to go back to Court and ask for an emergency stay of the visitation order.

My aunt was nominated as executrix of my fathers will and her mothers will and probably her fathers will which distributed both properties 1 to her the other to the brothers, the mother died so my father moved into the mothers house and then my uncle died without a will so dad just kept the house and made a will leaving it to her, at that time in 2005 we wern't getting along, but we made up and were fine and he died in sept of 08 she told me there was a will but would not talk to me directly after that until I finally called her after xmas and asked for a copy of the will when I started to get the attitude she mailed me a copy all this time she has been giving stuff away and never called me back and now her daughter is moving in which her daughter is named as executor if she died before dad or she can't do it the same one that is moving in, now I don't want to be greedy, I just want my uncles children and myself to have our birthright she and her children got theirs from my grandfather, she needs to execute the mothers will and my fathers will, grandmother died back in 2002, and both brothers werefighting with her to execute their mothers will so they could get things in order or sell or whatever, but she refused and they died.
