I need to determinate which is the legal nature of an award. I need to find if the award's nature is contractual OR a different one. Regarding with this, i need to find if there is any jurisprudence that justifies your answer, thanks.
It could depend on the matter being arbitrated. There are arbitrations for contract disputes, personal injury, maritime salvage, and other types of matters, contractual and non-contractual in nature. If you are doing this for school, you could look for arbitrator's decisions that have been posted online. You could also visit websites of organizations that conduct arbitrations, such as the American Arbitration Association, and see if they have resources that you could read to learn more. Good luck

Dear Sir,
A few properties including a 2 bedroom flat was transferred into my name in January 2009, following a divorce settlement. This flat is on a long term lease of 125 years (From wrekin housing trust) Last week I received a letter from the Wrekin housing trust asking for a GBP 1000.00 arrear that was owed to them by the Previous owner for Major works carried out on the property back in 2007. Am I liable to pay these arrears? When the lease of the property was transferred into my name, there was no such charge mentioned in the property registeration papers. Any help would be highly appreciated. Thanks.
Defamation & Innuendo
A supervisor from another dept asked about a wicker basket. She was loud and confrontational. She kept saying the basket belonged to customer service. Her tone, her stance implied I stole it. Other witnesses felt the same. If HR does not intervene, do I have a defamation case since she did not explicitly call me a theif...it was implied?
Guardianship cont'
If DCF and the courts give you and another person full custody, can the other person give their ''half'' to another without DCF and you agreeing? Child is 6. Mother is not apart of the guardianship now or in the future. If more information need can provide.
