I bought new 2015 Lincoln MKT 12/17 complete with 4 years warranty. No fault to me but t-boned by teenager when my new car only had 2000 miles on 2/14/18. Extensive damage cost over $10,000 in repair.. How do I calculate diminished value to settle this claim?
A Washington attorney could advise best, but your post remains open for two weeks. As a general matter, the property damage adjuster will do that. They'll visit the car in your shop and work up an estimate based on parts and labor. Unfortunately, many states apply statutory thresholds (which could vary by state insurance regulations), which if the repairs exceed, the vehicle will be declared a total loss. Unfortunately, the adjuster's fair market value figures for the car does not always reflect investments made by the owner. You could bring it up with the insurance carrier or consult with a Washington attorney, but if the car is declared a total loss, it's possible they might only go by comparable figures for 2015 Lincolns with similar option packages in the region. Good luck

I worked for a company here in San Diego,California, as an hourly employee working as a skycap for Delta Airlines. I have been with the company for the last 5 years. My question is : We used a timecard and a bundy clock to clock in and out of our work, we worked a total of 9 hours per day but we only get paid for 8 hours. They said that the 1 hour is our lunch break but we never get to do lunch because of the amount of work and they never acknowledge that part. Also, there is no paperwork that shows that we took lunch on our shift. We also does not get paid if we fail to clock out of our shift but we clock in for that day. They also deduct hour/s from our time if we are only a couple of minutes late. I believed that you have a 7 minutes grace period before and after the hour of your shift start time.
