I've been living at the Days inn in humble Texas since October the 6th 2019. My job is currently shut down due to the coronavirus. My family has been helping me pay for the room. Is there anything that I can do to at least have a couple weeks to find a place to live? Also I never filed to get a refund on the taxes i paid bc i didnt know about the Texas law after 30 days. I didnt file because I felt like they were good to me. But as soon as I am going through something like this they want to make me leave. I recieve mail here and never not paid. I'm just going through somethings that happened not by my choices. I really need some help
No, the texas property code that relates to landlord/tenant relations does not include hotels. Unfortunately, if you do not pay, they can ask you to leave.
