Our BK was discharged 3-2013. In late 2010 my Wife & Daughter were involved in an auto accident, they were hit by another car. They both we had large Doctor bills & Included in the BK. They could not continue seeing doctors because it wsa all out of pocket expense and we had no money. We never spoke with an Attorney prior to the BK. They both have pain issues from this accident. We have no money to fight this battle. So, in late 2013 my wife ran into an old Friend that is an Attorney & mentioned her situation. He said he would take it on as a Contingency. He received call from BK Trustee stating we are not allowed any proceeds from the lawsuit. They may need on going therapy
Did you have a specific question? I assume it is can the trustee do this? It is possible that a trustee would say something similar.
