D would have to seek out her own legal advice; you can't do it for her. But there is Illinois law that may protect her if she's less than 17 years old. But if she's not willing to seek out legal help, you can only be a friend, not an advocate as much as you may care for her. And if her parents are that way, you run the risk of stirring up trouble.
