I have been having issues with a small town cop and he said that he did not have to show me his radar and was going to write a ticket
The officer does not have to show you the radar at the scene though information about it can be obtained in discovery, if you dispute the ticket.
The officer isn't required to show you the radar. But as stated previously, you are able to get all the radar information through the discovery process. You should consider hiring an attorney to help you through this process.
