If I deplete my carryover funds with current year expenses and later submit a prior year expense, will the funds be adjusted to allow the new claim to be reimbursed?

No. Claims are processed based on the order in which they are received and balances cannot be adjusted. To ensure eligible prior year expenses are applied towards the carryover account, it's recommended that you submit those claims before April 30 and before submitting claims for current year expenses.
