in 1995 my son was forsed into admitting to crimes he did not commet seeing how we could not aford a lawyer he had a public defender, he served his time came home. now in 2010 he was acused of atempted robbery once again they have forced him into saying he did the crime when in fact he did not, once again. (public defender) now they are using his past record against him. I was under the impression that after 10years the points went away ..after he served his time. I don't know where to turn I have no money for a high price lawyer ,

Unfortunately, one's past doesn't automatically go away after 10 years. Any conviction can be used against a defendant in sentencing proceedings. I would suggest contacting an attorney to discuss your case in more detail. I offer a free consultation.
